Bio

Emily Robison (born August 16, 1972) is a country songwriter, recording artist and musician, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, raised in Texas and currently residing on a ranch outside of San Antonio. Emily plays guitar, dobro and banjo in the group. Emily and her sister, Martie Erwin, are founding members of the Dixie Chicks. The group has been performing since 1989. Emily is married to country singer Charlie Robison. They have three children, Charles Augustus, a.k.a. "Gus", born November 11, 2002; and twins Julianna Tex and Henry Benjamin, born April 14, 2005 at 9:19 p.m. and 9:29 p.m. respectively. Read more on Last.fm.
